Any detective story has to have some regular police officers in it. The regular police force are the backbone of any high profile investigation, doing most of the ground work and following the orders of detectives. The story is set in Britain and as such, the police characters' uniforms are based on the current British police uniforms. Here we have a selection of uniforms used in different situations.
